Causes of Hair Loss

ANDROGENETIC ALOPESIS is a disease that occurs with the effect of androgen in individuals with genetic predisposition and can be seen in both sexes and with hair loss. Hair loss in androgenetic alopecia, which is considered to be a physiological process, is effective in the lives of individuals because it is progressive. The high level of circulating androgen leads to the development of telogen effluvium which results in diffuse alopecia. With the development of technology, it was determined that free and bound androgens could be measured, and normal androgens in genetically predisposed men were sufficient to form AGA. Therefore, androgenic alopecia is defined as androgenetic alopecia.

TYPE 1 There is no retraction or minimal degree of hairline in TYPE 1 frontotemporal region.
TYPE 2 shows symmetrical and triangular withdrawal of the hairline in the frontotemporal region. Although there is shedding and dilution in the middle of the frontal area, it is less than the frontotemporal region.
TYPE 3 is the period in which the presence of clarity becomes evident. Symmetrical deep frontotemporal withdrawal is evident.
TYPE 4 has severe temporal and frontotemporal hair loss. Significant dilatation is observed in the vertex. These two areas are separated by a thick hair band along the top area.
TYPE 5 hair band appears to be further thinner. The hairless areas increased in the vertex and frontotemporal area.
TYPE 6 was cast in areas that were expressed as hair band and combined with vertex and frontotemporal balding areas.
TYPE 7 is a severe form. There are hairs that start from the front of the ear and extend to the rear and the posterior region in the form of horseshoe.

ANDROGENETIC ALOPES IN WOMEN is slightly different than male. The frontal hairline is preserved. Diffuse hair loss occurs in the centroparietal area of scalp. Complete baldness does not develop in the vertex region.

GRADE 1 Protection of frontal hairline, noticeable hair loss in vertex
GRADE 2 Significant reduction of hair on top of grade 2 grade 1
GRADE 3 Fully baldness of areas in grade 3 grade 1 and 2

Telogen Effluvium (Telogen Hair Loss): Increasing the proportion of hair in the work, pulling, washing, brushing, such as daily life with simple traumatic effects of 150 to 400 per day hair loss is. The most common causes of telogen hair loss are febrile diseases, surgical interventions, thyroid diseases, stress, protein and caloric nutrition, seasonal changes, iron zinc biotin deficiencies and drugs used.

Anagen Effluvium: A sudden loss of hair after exposure to radiation or certain chemicals. This type of hair loss is most commonly seen in patients who undergo chemotherapy and radiotherapy due to cancer. Sudden hair loss occurs within 1-3 weeks of exposure. While hair loss due to chemotherapy is generally reversible, it is impossible to recycle in spills caused by radiotherapy.

Natural Hair Loss: Hair naturally has a process of shedding. 100-150 wire hair loss per day is an example of natural hair loss. When the hair starts to shed more and more, it is a problem. Spills caused by the very tight binding of the hair, natural hair loss during pregnancy or after birth are the spills.

Pregnancy-induced alopecia: In pregnancy, the rate of hair entering the anagen phase increases, so that more lush and shiny hair is formed, but their growth slows.

Shampoos used to cleanse hair with cosmetic treatments: Many types of shampoos are formulated in different ways and are commercially available formulated for normal, dry, oily, dyed hair. Shampoos used for oily hair cause drying on the hair if used on a daily basis. Again, it is possible to develop irritants or allergic dermatitis against substances in shampoos.

Hair dyes: Hair dyes that make a gradual coloring have little to do with contact dermatitis but can be harmful because they cause hard, brittle, lifeless hair. In addition, the metal residues in the hair makes it difficult to apply permanent dye and permanent solution. In such an application, it causes the hair to break. Semi-permanent paints have less damage to the hair shaft, but they can make contact allergic dermatitis because of the paint they contain. Hair styling, brushing, gel, spray and foam are applied for shaping the hair. The tight collection of hair in the posterior area reveals the condition called traumatic alopecia. Traumatic scans on a hair that is fragile can cause spills.
